Magic Update Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

 Magic Update is a system allowing real-time HTML document updating directly from your favorite forms-capable browser. The document to be updated and your access to the Internet can be on different hosts, as they are in this demonstration.

After you enter the update information below, and click on submit, the Magic Update system perform its magic and after a few seconds the modified document will be display, starting at the updated area.

You're now in a document which looks much like the actual input form used to update any designated HTML document. What's missing are a few password identification fields.

Utilization of this system requires no knowledge of HTML, Unix, Operating Systems, FTP, or any other computer lingo. However, if you do know HTML, you can include tags in your entered text.

This document contains two different updatable areas, the gold area (between the bold bars) and the blue area (you got it, between the blue bars.) There is no limit to the number of update areas in a single document or the number of updatable documents at the same site.

The following is the GOLD online updatable document segment. We call it Magic Update Gold. If you check the Gold button below and fill out and submit the form which follows, your entry will replace the text between the gold bars. Update Entry Instructions
